In Aztec culture and imagery, the symbol "Xochi" is often associated with flowers and represents various aspects related to nature, beauty, and fertility. "Xochi" is derived from the Nahuatl word "xochitl," which means "flower." Flowers held significant cultural and religious importance in Aztec society, and they were often used as offerings in ceremonies and rituals.
I painted two mugs this in honor of Xochitl - to bring beauty and creativity into your life!
One is red inside with a green handle, and the other is green inside with a red handle!
The insides of both have white speckles, all are the colors of Mexico. Trimmed in black around the edges and I added floral designs on the back and on the sides.
