SOLD OUT Día de los Muertos Online Craft Retreat

The Día de los Muertos Online Craft Retreat is here! So many of you asked for this and Patrick and I put together five workshops to celebrate this beautiful tradition!

Friday evening, Oct 21 from 6-8 pm, and Saturday, Oct 22 11 a.m.-5 pm. (longer if necessary).

This will be held via Zoom, and as always - you do not have be there - you will receive the links so you can watch at your leisure. These workshops are great for all skill levels.

The price includes a box containing a craft kit for each workshop, plus some other goodies!

Here are the five workshops:

La Catrina Plaster Wall Piece

Created by artists Richard and Virginia Arenas, these pieces are hand cast. You will receive one blank to paint and decorate. Measures 5-1/2x7." you will receive the paints, brushes, glitter and varnish for this project.

La Calavera Mixed Media Canvas Painting

Patrick Murillo will guide you along to paint this incredible piece you can use on your ofrenda. It is on an 8x10 canvas board and embellished with crepe paper flowers.

Sugar Skull Felt Banner and Craft kit

We'll use the Crafty Chica Amor Eterno Felt Panel to create a felt banner, and the kit also includes lots of other pieces for you to use throughout the season! Items such as felt ornaments and more!

Libro de Las Calaveras Book

Using Crafty Chica dies, papers and stamps, we'll create a beautiful book in the shape of a calaca and we'll. make pockets and pages to insert memorias, pictures, and other sentiments. 

Desktop Ofrenda

We will assemble and embellish a wood nicho that measures 10"x7"x3.50" Designed and cut for us by Bones & Cobwebs! Made with 1/8" Birch plywood. Product is made in the USA. We will be making and painting the elements for the altar. Items may vary because they will all be one-of-a-kind, but you will also receive some finished minis from Mexico!

 BONUS! MYSTERY JEWELRY PROJECT

I always add an extra to the box, this is a fun little craft we do to cleanse our crafty energy!
