Registration is now open for the 5th Annual Crafty Navidad online craft retreat,  hosted by me, Kathy, The Crafty Chica!

This retreat consists of five workshops that I would normally charge $50 each, all supplies and live instruction is included.

I’ll guide you along, every step of the way via livestream! This retreat will be recorded so you can rewatch at your leisure.

Boxes will be shipped the last week of November.

This virtual retreat is going to be packed full of projects, ideas, and even a couple surprises to get you ready for the season! In between classes, I’ll share some other tutorials to inspire you for the holiday season!

Limited spots because I’ll be packing and shipping the kit boxes, I want to keep it manageable!

Your ticket price includes:

5 Mexi-style workshops. Each project is packaged as a kit with all the supplies. You will receive a goody box containing the kits, plus extra holiday goodies!

Friday, December 5th, 6 - 8 pm (PT)

Madre de Milagros Watercolor Art: Flow, faith, and color — the perfect creative blessing to begin our retreat! You’ll learn to blend hues and accents as we warm up with festive holiday imagery, then move into painting a radiant portrait of La Virgen de Guadalupe, our Madre de Milagros.

Saturday, December 6th, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (PT)

Árbol de Esperanza Fabric Tree: Create a vibrant fabric tree bursting with color, texture, and intention. Using Latin- and holiday-themed fabrics, trims, and ribbons, you’ll layer and tie each strip with a wish for the season. We'll also make a tree topper, and you’ll have a radiant piece of art that celebrates both tradition and creativity.

Amor y Azúcar clay ornaments: Sweetness, sparkle, and cultura.  We’ll paint and glitter a set of three faux pan dulce ornaments: A classic concha, a marranito (gingerbread-style piggy), and a cheerful payaso cookie. Hang them on your tree, gift them to a friend, or use them as year-round reminders that life is always better with a little sugar and sparkle!

La Bendita Pin Brooch: Create a one-of-a-kind wearable artwork that radiates love, luck, and pure buenas vibras! Using a 2-inch safety pin as your base, you’ll make a mini altar of adornment. You'll learn to hand-embroider a tiny centerpiece, maybe a heart, eye, flower, or symbol of your choosing, then add charms, colorful beads, milagros, and glittery accents. Each pin holds five spaces for magic, intention, and storytelling, making every creation a little prayer you can wear.

Paper Posadas Garland and Greeting Card: We'll create handmade garland that tells the story of hope, faith, and unity. You’ll create a strand of colorful little houses, candles, stars, and hearts representing the journey toward warmth and belonging.

Directions: You’ll receive a full-color PDF of all the projects, pictures and steps!
